Sorry for the delayed response.
Could you please try to create a test product using ‘WooCommerce > Products’ menu and then try to reproduce the same Smart Manager issue using the test product and do let me know your views.
Further, if still the issue persists, then could you please get back to me with the exact steps to reproduce the issue or maybe get back with a sceengrab video showing the steps to reproduce the issue, so that we can have a recheck with the same at my end.

After activating the plugin, go to WooCommerce Stock Manager and enable these columns: Manage stock, Stock status and stock column (if not enabled).
Then you can manage stock from all the products.Please have a check and let us know how it goes for you.

Sorry for the delayed response.
Would like to update you that you can simply click on the same column header in Smart Manager grid till the sorting arrow sign disappears to reset the sorting.
Further, if still you are unable to reset the sort then you would need to delete a WordPress option at the WordPress database level by simply following the below steps:
1) Open your WordPress database & then go to wp_options table
2) Search all values having ‘_sm_beta_[your wordpress login email]_Products‘ as option_name
3) Now delete the same row. That’s it.Please do let us know if the same resolves the issue or not.

Currently, it is not possible to search by partial SKU.
However, you can have a check with another free plugin – Smart Manager – which will allow you to do the same.
