I’m having the same issue. How did you resolve it? I just updated shortcodes ultimate and now it will not activate.

In reply to: [WP Shortcodes Plugin — Shortcodes Ultimate] Cannot Activate PluginI forgot to add that this is also on the error code:
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘inc/vendor/class.sunrise.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/mysite/public_html/wp-content/plugins/shortcodes-ultimate/shortcodes-ultimate.php on line 20
This is line 20 in shortcodes-ultimate.php:
// Includes
require_once ‘inc/vendor/class.sunrise.php’;I have enabled the WP Touch Caching option on this plugin arleady.

In reply to: Inability to upgrade to 3.5.1Linux. In Motion Hosting. But yes, they have not been very easy to talk to regarding this matter and are sure that it is a wordpress issue. I feel pretty helpless right now and it would be pretty disastrous for my business if I had to start the site over from scratch.

In reply to: Inability to upgrade to 3.5.1Brand new database with no data imported. This entire mess began after an upgrade of w3-total cache. Then had to restore to previous version with host. However, they only restored my wp/plugins folder to previous version. Things have gone downhill since then. Found out it was an APC problem which got me very close to back to normal. Could fully access front end and back end but pages were not showing up in front end. Have since tried the clean install of WordPress while importing wp-content and database and now keep getting this error and it refuses to allow me to upgrade to 3.5.1 and keeps going back to 3.4.2 even after clicking the “upgrade to 3.5.1” on the admin dashboard.

In reply to: Inability to upgrade to 3.5.1Tried doing a clean installation and I’m right back to square one with the same error message. It is still only showing version 3.4.2 even after using a clean install of 3.5.1. The only directories which was not deleted was cgi bin and directories for 2 subdomains which were both empty.
Not making any progress…right back to square one.

In reply to: Inability to upgrade to 3.5.1Just looked into it. that code is for 3.5.1. So the database is setup for 3.5.1 would this mean that somewhere in my files it is calling a different database version? I also attempted editing to the codex for 3.4.2 and had no change. Have now switched back codex to 22441.

In reply to: Inability to upgrade to 3.5.1I have found the value within the database it is: 22441. Is this what it is supposed to be? What can I do with this number now?

In reply to: Inability to upgrade to 3.5.1Just manually installed fresh version of 3.5.1 with no changes. Still getting the same error message…

In reply to: Inability to upgrade to 3.5.1The database is from 3.5.1 (where my site was at 3 days ago). However, after the restore there were problems with my wp-admin folder so I had to use the wp-admin folder from a backup from 11/28/2012. Could it be that the wp-admin file that I used has 3.4.2 but my wp-content folders and database are trying to use 3.5.1?
Maybe I need to manually install 3.5.1?

In reply to: Fatal error: Call to undefined method wpdb::get_charset_collateDid this work? I am having a similar problem. I upgraded a plugin and restored a previous version. that did not work so i had to install a fresh version of wordpress. I’m getting the same error message when i click on any of my plugins which I uploaded from my previous wp-content. Also, my database is not registering as it should be. Really at a loss here and need my site up asap!
