SamanthaBlocking the category url doesn’t block the actual sub page of the directory listing. External users can still access it unless I manually go in and update each listing entry (arrgh). Do you know if a search engine would pick up on the directory sub page and allow people to access it through the listing name?
For example:
http://www.tishomingodescendants.com/ancestorsanddescendants/burgess-armstead/Would that be captured by a google or bing search engine and show up under search results for burgess?
I have been using a membership plugin and i have also tried using a content restriction plugin, but neither are able to recognize the categories the way you have set it up for your plugin.
is there a way for me to update the directory pages on the backend via the sql files? and mark each directory listing to have view (or blocked) access based on identified role?
