I copied their response above… what confuses me is that it says :
items which are alcohol related should setup Adult Age group attribute in the feed level or account should be enabled with Adult or use correct alcohol product cataloger like addressed in the initial email.
All the products have the correct category identifier, i.e. 414 for the beers, etc
In reality since these are “or” statements, they shouldn’t need anything else.
I would, however, like to cover the bases and would like to know what value (and how, static?) to add in the value field for the g:age_group field….
Thanks
Well…. the feed gives no error related to that field – but neither is that showing anywhere in the product information in merchant center…. I am at something of a loss… I have to wait for the cooling off period to finish again on the 8th and then resubmit with no clear idea of whether anything I’ve done is what the want.
Frankly, their CS is so disappointing…Sorry – found the age_group option and added that as a field – used “adult” as the static value – I’ll let you know if that works in terms of population something for Google to see in the feed….
Hi – this is the most recent reply I’ve received from Google – and I have all the categories such as beer, hard cider, wine etc mapped correctly….

Hope you’re well!I’ve done deep dive analysis and could see that the account is not set up as suggested by my colleague in my previous response.
As per the article : https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6150139?hl=en, items which are alcohol related should setup Adult Age group attribute in the feed level or account should be enabled with Adult or use correct alcohol product cataloger like addressed in the initial email.
However, neither of them are setup on the account. To Promote alcohol, you need to set up the above mentioned setup to promote alcohol products.
As the product is ‘Beer’, the suggested Google Product Category is 414 i.e. Food, Beverages & Tobacco > Beverages > Alcoholic Beverages > Beer should have been applied to the product.
This is the reason the account is suspended, please check the entire feed and make sure the Adult attribute and correct alcohol attribute is given to the item to avoid such issues further.

I have been going back and forth with Google for a month now and each time the answer is different…..
Thanks for the prompt response… what value would you suggest I use the Value field if g:adult is in the shopping attribute field…
I tried to add a custom field as per their suggestion g:age_group – but the plug in refused to accept it
fixed!
Thank you – it was the variations options…. we have bottles and cases for all the wines – now fixed!

In reply to: [Weather Atlas Widget] Can’t get widget to updateYes – if I deactivate the widget and then reactivate it updates – so there is some caching going on somewhere…. but for the life of me I cannot figure out where….

In reply to: [Weather Atlas Widget] Can’t get widget to updateHi.. experiencing the same issue… if I deactivate the plug in it disappears, when I activate it is updated… so it is a caching issue… but I have no caching plug in and no caching setting I am aware of – so how do I go about finding where this is happening?
Any ideas?
Thanks
I think so…I’m using Gravity Forms for the registration since I want the single registration to add the member to wp and also to our mailchimp account…so that is the only page I changed.
When I tried to set the logout page to be the login page – thinking that this might help get us back to the home page with the login widget set to logged out – that broke the site to the point where I had to use a back up to fix things.
I’ll have to try the conflict test over the weekend when the client is asleep 😉
Thanks for your reply – much appreciated.
I recall that the solution for me was going into the database. There was a table that had a record of all the lockouts and clearing those allowed me to log in again
Thanks for the reply – I tested this on another inactive site and, sure enough, when I went to delete the user it gave me the option to reattribute authorship to another user – so that worked!
I was just a bit worried that I might delet all that user’s content along with their account.
The good news is that, since this change I am no longer receiving these lock out messages, so it would seem that the previous user (not “admin” !!) had indeed been compromised.
Thanks for your help with this!
Hmmm – so I set up a new admin account and was about to delete the old one – the one that is triggering all these access attempts – and then realise that this user is the author of all the pages… is this going to be a problem if I delete the user? and, if so, how do I transfer the authorship to the new admin account?
Thanks
