No, I didn’t purchase this and it let me take the resume off before.
It has also pulled all of the post in the blog-posts custom post type and changed them to a regular post.

No, but that isn’t really practical for people who are signing up locally to have them put in their country code. In the desktop it doesn’t require a country code. It just requires areacode-xxx-xxxx. Also, in mobile there is no placeholder or instruction to indicate that you need a country code.
