turned out to be a caching issue within the theme for me. I had problems even when I tried other themes and had no other plugins activated…my hosting helped me clear the theme cache and it worked.

I have no other plugins used. Using Divi theme. Everything is up to date. Happened when updated woocommerce to 4.1.0
