Hi Thomas,
The sidebar is no longer sticky at all with the 6.0.0 beta test version. So I converted it to version 5.3.0. Too bad it’s so difficult to solve.
As a workaround, I’ll just remove all internal anchor links to the form on the page, as I’m guessing they don’t have much impact anymore. After all, the form in the sidebar is now sticky, so the anchor link is not (or less) necessary.
Thanks for your efforts! I hope that a next version can still go well with anchor links!

Hi Thomas,
Thank you! I’ll be waiting. Enjoy your weekend too!

Hi Thomas,
Just installed this new version. Can you take a look?

Just did! See: https://www.ingevorderd-rijbewijs.nl/rijbewijs-kwijt/
Hope you can find something, I’m curious!

Hi Thomas,
You’re right, I disabled the test version after it didn’t work. If you want to take a look at the test version 6.0, I’ll have to reactivate it. However, I don’t want to have it live for long, because the functionality doesn’t work.
If a certain moment is suitable for you to watch, I will make sure that the test version is live on the website at that moment.
Just let me know and I’ll take that into account.
Thanks,
MartinHi Thomas,
Thank you for this opportunity. I have already installed 6.0, but unfortunately this does not offer a solution.

As you can see, the form jumps up right after scrolling. The anchor link works in this case, but it doesn’t make up for the sidebar’s lack of stickyness. I don’t really know how to proceed now. Hopefully you know something else?
Kind regards, Martin
Hi Thomas,
Ah yes, that’s a good idea.
Just tried it with a Custom HTML block as separate widget above the form widget in the sidebar. If I fix that HTML block in the sidebar by checking the box with Fixed Widget, the issue remains the same. However, if I don’t check the box, the anchor link works properly.
Maybe these findings give more direction?
Kind regards, Martin
Hi Thomas,
Thanks for watching and your test.
Just used the ‘id’ instead of the ‘name’, but unfortunately nothing changed for the operation. Not even after the plugin WP Rocket was completely deactivated.
The anchor link is in the description field of the form (Gravity Forms), could that be another cause?
Regards, Martin
Hi Thomas,
Thanks for your reply.
It is true that the website uses WP Rocket. However, the issue persists even after disabling the entire plugin. Could there still be some connection maybe with my other report about the issues with the anchor link at the top of the forms widget in the sidebar?
Hope to hear from you!
Kind regards, Martin
Hi Joachim,
Just did it. Thanks!
