Human beings are problem solvers, so I guess that accounts for software getting easier and better. By the way, Network Solutions is a great domain host. They are cheap and have good telephone tech support. I have about twenty URLs hosted for $119 per year. When I called up this morning to get some help with WordPress, the tech support agent kept saying, “Do you have any other questions?” and “Is there anything else I can help you with?” A good way to do business.
Isn’t it the way for the software to get easier and smarter? Anyways, kudos to the WordPress pioneers.
Here’s how things turned out. My host is Network Solutions, so I called up the tech support agent and he reset my permissions from his end. He said it was not working right. After that I could log in and update to the current version. Since NetSol is my host, they set up WordPress for me. It is all brand new to me as of the first week in October. Anyway, I think one of my neighbors knows it, so I may have some help. I also have a friend in Colorado who uses it. Thank you for your help too.
