OK, so I assumed it was my install that was the overlying problem. Thank you for the pointer on the meta links though. I am going to do a clean install of WP and not use the one click install provided by GoDaddy this time, but just do it the old fashioned way.
I am resolving this, but if anyone has any tips for installing using GoDaddy hosting I am all ears.
Thank you for the help, so I can easily change my file permissions in filezilla, but I am a touched confused after reading the link. Which files and at what value should I change them to? I changed the /wp-content/themes to 666, but than after re-reading it appears that is not safe? And the theme editor didn’t appear after I did that, plus I uploaded a new theme earlier this morning via FTP and it is not showing in my available themes.
I am sure that this is an easy fix, but I am not versed in wordpress and need just this little bit of handholding 🙂
I realize this probably a dumb question, but any help is appreciated 🙂
