Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: WordPress Hacked with Infestation of Random PHP filesI have been scouring the site, but all I can find is that one file I mentioned above. I have seen no evidence of any hack except this file. I have scoured the site, the DB, everything (I think). I have never had my header changed or anything that I can detect other than this one file (which doesn’t even seem to have any executable code in it, just a bunch of terms and numbers in parenthesis after them, which are perhaps hits or weights). I continue to look at it. Thanks for your reply, I appreciate it.

In reply to: WordPress Hacked with Infestation of Random PHP filesDid you find out any more about this? I just noticed one of those odd files (content-meta.php) inside a custom theme on an old site that I completed last May. I can’t find any evidence (other than that one file) that anything is amiss, but would like to investigate further. I have found no results on the internet except yours, here. Any ideas? Thanks!

In reply to: [Better Admin Help Tabs] not appearing in menuWhat version of WordPress are you running?

In reply to: [Better Admin Pointers] Guest UserThis is a feature I have been thinking about implementing, but have not gotten around to yet. Basically, I would need to track non logged-in users with a cookie instead of a special field in the db for registered users. I am swamped at the moment with other project work, but as soon as I get some breathing room I will take this up.
Thanks for writing.

In reply to: [Smart Slider 2] disable CSS on other admin pages?I just upgraded to the full paid version and this exact problem came back. Is there an easy way to fix it? (And is the latest version of the full product still 2.3.10? Because that is what I was able to download and what shows). thanks.

In reply to: [Better Admin Pointers] Single Post pointer on the front endThanks for the compliment. 🙂
To answer your questions:
1) Currently, there can be only one ID per pointer, or alternatively ALL_FRONT or ALL_ADMIN. I will consider adding the functionality to add multiples separated by commas in a future release though.
2) Ditto, I have this already planned for a future release.
3) This is a good idea too, I will look into adding this at some point.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Better Admin Pointers] Single Post pointer on the front endOh, one last thing I just thought of: Is your post id for a custom post type, or one of the built in types (page or post)?

In reply to: [Better Admin Pointers] Single Post pointer on the front endWell, I just tested on my end and it works fine (I tested both with a single post and a single page id, just the number and nothing else). There must be something else interfering. Are you absolutely sure that your css id or class is valid? Are you sure you haven’t already dismissed this item (which would not allow it to show again until you had reset pointers or given it a new unique name)?

In reply to: [Better Admin Help Tabs] Formatted Help & Tab OrderThanks for your suggestions, I will look them over and consider adding them to the plugin.

In reply to: [Better Admin Help Tabs] Feature option…Not entirely sure I am understanding you, but I think that is beyond the scope of the help tab plugin, as it seems (if I am understanding you) to be about customizing a save process specific to your post type.
