In reply to: Pingomatic problem…I just realized this too.
The site’s not being pinged unless I go to the pingomatic, or the other sites myself…. Furthermore, some aggregator sites aren’t being pinged by pingomatic – I have to go to their sites before I see myself listed.
I’m very new to using weblog ping sites, but as far as I can tell it isn’t the orginal pings coming through, becuase of the time stamp.
I just change my blog address and wordpress address to the same thing, maybe that will help?Version 1.4 seems to solve the problem. Excellent!
http://www.elbizri.com/index.php?static=wiki/I can’t get this plugin to work either – every time I try to launch it, it gives me the install page again.
An investigation of the database shows me that it is not provisioning the database with tables. It is, however, altering the information in it’s install file, so it’s doing something.
I’ve tried it with in both wordpress and the standalone installs.
Pete – your link takes me to your home page. I assume you had removed this?
If anyone has got it working, or can suggest a good alternative, I’m all ears….
Thanks!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: Event Calendar for WP 1.2>http://codegrrl.com/scripts/phpcalendar/
It’s a bit slim on the details section, isn’t it? One line makes it kind of hard to put in anything more than a mention of the event :<
The event plugin had great potential – I really hope someone with the skill to make a working one steps up to the bat – I’ve got about 5 friends who all want me to install them a wordpress site with a calendar plugin in it.
