    Guys:

I have been grappling with this wp 2.71 issue since inception (new blogger so only since early April) but thank you soooo very much for this info…I did what you all recommended above and it worked!! To all who take the time to visit and share solutions…it’s truly wonderful!

This really is a great community and I’m so glad to be a part of it!

    Best to you all!

    sweetdeal,

I thought about it being a browser issue– especially because there is a note on EG’s site about known issues with IE7– If so, should I upgrade to IE8– will that resolve the issue?

I can upload the image into my WP library no problem. I have jpegs and I’m uploading from my computer– didn’t think I had to include the url if I’m uploading directly from my computer. Is this where I’m going wrong? I must include a url regardless?

The problem occurs once I insert the image into the post– you can see the ‘image pane’ and only a little X, not the image itself. It doesn’t show up from the onset.

I could really use a solution– it’s probably very apparent, but I’m really a theme idiot just trying to blog 🙂

    I appreciate any help!

    Hey esmi,

Thanks for input. Due to my lack of knowledge and skillset with this, I really need some specific guidance– step-by-step I guess. I don’t want to screw it all up.

Can you tell me– by having the psd file for the theme, how does that benefit me if not to make style changes there– rather than going into the stylesheets? I know I’m not seeing something that’s probably very apparent to most.

    Thanks again!
    Susan
