In reply to: Upgraded to 3.4.1 and can no longer access adminProblem resolved. I logged into godaddy – resaved everything, uninstalled wordpress and re-installed it. Add back the old content files and database.
It was a problem with the database needing to be updated.Thanks for helping.

But here is what has me panicked….I did a backup this morning but I don’t have the software to open the sql file. Do I need to be able to open that before moving forward? I’m a nervous wreck that I’m going to lose all my content, photos and posts.Forum: Fixing WordPress

– re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.– running the upgrade manually via wp-admin/upgrade.php

Tried switching themes using the ftp site and got a blank page with this:Oops! This link appears to be broken.
Same thing with resetting the plugins.
How do I attempt the other 2 options without accessing the admin?
