Sorry, I meant ‘Checkout’ page, not ‘Cart’ page.
Product Type ‘Gift’ shows on Cart page with ‘Select Options’ button, but then no way to add it to cart or confirm selection.(see screenshot 1).
Product has SKU and stock (see screenshot 2)
I have temporarily got around this by using ‘Simple Product’ type, but unfortunately with that the free product can be accessed via hyperlinked title from the Cart page item and added to the cart again on the single-product page.
Thanks for your reply @decomteam. I’ve actually resolved this issue. After updating WooCommerce from 3.4.5 to 3.5.2, new orders do correctly display the gifts in the Order Details. Old orders unfortunately don’t, but that’s fine.
I do however have another issue: ‘Gift’ type products are not able to be added to the cart from the Free Gift Section on the checkout page. Other product types (simple, variable, etc) assigned as ‘Giftable’ work fine, but not the ‘Gift’ product type, which is ideally what I’d prefer to use.
Any ideas? Is this a known issue, and shall I fill out a seperate ticket for this and mark this thread as resolved?
