Hi Angus,
I am sorry I was wrong. I had another instance of a mailchimp embed. As soon as I removed it, the Material Design worked great.
Now how can I use the mailchimp plugin together with yours?

Hi Angus, I disabled the mailchimp plugin and removed all css related to it. The problem was still there. I also disabled all other plugins, except contact form and Material Design. The problem still there unfortunately.
