Any geek working on this? I will be a great help if problem is solved.
Try following plugin
http://geekeemedia.com/wordpress/add-a-custom-url-to-your-wordpress-gallery-images/
It exactly do the thing which you want to do and you don’t have to do anything else except adding your desired links in the custom link field. You can do it to all your images as well by visiting media library.
Nice Plugin.one thing i missed that go to edit page of any post and keep refressing it after u make the change. That will show how the post title has changed and how it will viewed in the Search engine page. Option is just below the post area if you are using SEO by Yoast plugin.
SEO by Yoast has option in the setting where you can change << with |. Install SEO by Yoast and go to the SEO — Titles & Metas– and in the here you change the title and characters which you want in the post. eg go to Post Type and type %%title%% | %%category%% | %%title%%. This will make your title as name of the post | category name | title of the site. You go to help tab in the same view to choose various option. This is very good plugin.
You can use nRelate (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/nrelate-related-content/) or Linkwithin (http://www.linkwithin.com/learn) for this purpose. These two plugins are optimized for the purpose you want. On single page you should always use a related post plugin not the random post. I like nRelate better than Linkwithin as linkwithin create a linn on their site and give a redirect so it not give u the link juice (as far as know but i may be wrong).
