In reply to: TwentyTen changing post layoutOk, I’ve just taken a look and it’s all written in PHP.
What I need to do is completely change the layout of that section, as per above.

In reply to: Customise Page Title, Meta Description, Meta KeywordsAs an alternative (I’m searching for plug-ins, not sure I can find one with enough stars), how can I have a static index.html page as a CLICK HERE TO ENTER with some info on it and when you click to enter, it goes to http://www.domain.com/index.php which is the front page of the Word Press site.
When I do my install of Word Press, if I put an index.html file in the same directory, whenever I try to go to the index.php page, I can’t. the index.html displays instead.

Thanks.

In reply to: Static Page as front page (not news articles)I’m currently using 2.5 and I can’t see this feature, but it looks like a good reason to upgrade to 2.7.1
Thanks for the info. Looks like 2.7 has a few new features!

In reply to: Adding html code to a postFor the record (and anyone searching), I ended up installing the plug-in found at http://bassistance.de/2006/04/12/wordpress-youtube-plugin/ for YouTube and it works really well.
Turning off the visual editor really wasn’t an option for me, and even when I did, the code didn’t embed properly anyway.

In reply to: Adding html code to a postI need the wysiwyg editor (it’s a client updating it, not me). I just need to be able to insert code as well. I did a search and couldn’t find an answer that fitted my needs. I’ll try again, but if someone can point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.
