In reply to: Just upgraded WordPress and now plugins are going haywireAhh I fixed it! I found this site: http://www.notcolor.com/2010/04/30/wordpress-cant-add-plugin-freezes-wont-unzip-stuck-at-unpacking-the-package/
I used the first method he has listed. I guess it’s a common problem 1&1 users. Anyway, that was all I had to do.
Thanks for the help though. 😀

In reply to: Just upgraded WordPress and now plugins are going haywireIs it worth trying these methods if I am not positive that the problem is memory? And is memory, why all of a sudden has this problem occurred?

In reply to: Just upgraded WordPress and now plugins are going haywireI attempted to install the plugin available at that link and it isn’t going past “Unpacking” for some reason. Not all plugins are doing this, just certain ones.

In reply to: Just upgraded WordPress and now plugins are going haywireOr a memory issue rather. This problem may have only been with older versions of WordPress, though. I read it in a few different places.

In reply to: Just upgraded WordPress and now plugins are going haywireIt seems that I am able to download certain plugins. I tried installing two different plugins and it worked. One of them was one of the ones I recently deleted, Wp-Stats. When I activate it, I get the same issue I was getting with Contact Form 7. I can no longer see my posts and comments. I get the whole 500 internal service error.
I read about sometimes this being a space issue. Could this have something to do with it and if so, how would I fix that?

I’m going to try plugin deactivation now.
