Hey, thanks a lot. Took me awhile to find the correct functions php file, but it did work, lol.

So, to be clear, if I want my wordpress content to be accessible via index.html, I need to move everything from /sc2/ folder. Should it matter that I’m using a child theme? It’s slightly modified from original.

Where and what exactly do I do, in order to update wphome and wpsiteurl? Just remove /sc2/ from both lines in functions.php and that’s it, or is there more to it?

I’m not very good at this, so your help is much appreciated 🙂

I suppose I’m very old fashioned in regards to html, I still remember the basics from the late 90s. CSS does seem to be far more efficient, but it’s just confusing to me for now. I already had to mess around with the code a bit, because the theme that I’m using needed some adjustments, like getting rid of the huge block of empty white space on top.

Just trying different things out right now, but I’m very impressed with WordPress. My experimental site is already looking more modern and professional than the original: http://spacechronology.com/sc2/

I’m loving the fact that for the most part, I can just drop whatever I need from my old site in html code onto the new pages here.

Perhaps someone here can let me know whether its possible for the drop-down list of buttons (static pages) to expand horizontally, after it reaches, say, 7 pages? That would be fantastic.
