1. How do I stop text from scrolling while editing posts in the HTML window. I get bounced up to the top of the window while typing text at the bottom of a post.
2. How do I stop WP from adding random <br />‘s to the HTML I post?

Thanks adiant and doc4. Grrr. I only have two plugins, Save My pre and one I rolled myself. (http://fms.kalx.net/?p=15) Upgraded to 2.8.4 but still get unwanted scrolling while editing posts in the HTML window. The unwanted langle br / rangle ‘s seem to no longer magically show up.
