In reply to: Sub menus are not being displayed under main menuSorry, but you’re using a premium/paid theme not supported in these forums. It’s best to go to the support site where you bought the theme – http://themeforest.net/ – for help with customizations and issues. You paid for support when you bought the theme, so you should contact the people who sold you the theme.

In reply to: Plugin — NewsWhat’s the legalities these days of using different feeds from websites?
No one here is going to advise you on the legal aspects of RSS feeds and aggregating excerpts or full content from the web onto your own site. If you’re worried about it, read the TOS of each site about their copyrights and policies and get legal advice. Your website is entirely your decision.

In reply to: Site hacked, htaccess helpThose .htaccess directives are for the host to handle php versions; they are not the hack.
Carefully follow FAQ My site was hacked – WordPress Codex.
Then take a look at the recommended security measures in Hardening WordPress – WordPress Codex and Brute Force Attacks – WordPress Codex
If you can’t do the work yourself, consider looking for a reputable person on http://jobs.wordpress.net/ or http://directory.codepoet.com or http://upwork.com
(FYI, it’s not a good idea to respond to work offers from random forum users who have read about your issues.)

In reply to: Quick Q to help identify source of a hack: option.php@frasermarlow: you are not locating the source of the exploit; you are finding the results of the exploit.
Don’t post hacking code, exploits or hacked files in these forums. Don’t ask other users to check their sites; that’s completely meaningless, as no one has exactly the same theme, host and plugin environment.
Until you complete hardening of WordPress, investigate the theme you are using, and talk to GoDaddy, you’re simply going in circles, re: your earlier post https://wordpress.org/support/topic/site-hack-or-exploit-links-to-italian-pdfs-on-wp-sites?replies=10
If you have security concerns, read about reporting them: https://make.wordpress.org/core/handbook/testing/reporting-security-vulnerabilities/
