In reply to: [CommentPress Core] Backslash escape character intrusion on editingThanks very much, Christian. I made a couple of quick attempts with the manual fix you supplied earlier, but without success, and ran out of time to continue trying. It’s great to know the fix is in place with the new release.

In reply to: [CommentPress Core] Commentpress Core search optionsCommentPress is not active on my main site. By page search I just mean searches that apply to the textual content of pages in CommentPress, as opposed to the “Members” and “Posts” content categories that display when BuddyPress is activated. For instance, the search feature at the site here (not mine) appropriately targets the content of the literary text being displayed: http://www.textofnorthangerabbey.org/northangerabbey/
With BuddyPress active on my site, that search field includes a dropdown menu with only the two options mentioned above, with no means for searching the main content. Thanks, Christian.

In reply to: [CommentPress Core] Commentpress Core search optionsUpdate: I’ve just learned that my BuddyPress plugin was overriding CommmentPress Core’s page search function, and that deactivating BuddyPress eliminated the “Members” and “Posts” options and made page search possible. This leads me to update my query: Is it possible to have BuddyPress active on a CommentPress Core site without losing the page search function?
