I guess it happens very easily if something needs to be adjusted in the images or even by accident that the rating type is changed,it could even happen by accident. If there are thouthands of ratings lost only by pressing the wrong button, wouldn’t it be better to install at least a warning popup before wiping the data?

I understand what you are saying. Does that mean that the ratings database would be wiped also when changing the ratings type? Say I change rating type A to type B. Will the rating data of A still be there when I switch back?
