THst would be quite a change, as I am using datatables functionality to implement the sortable columns and the search. This would require the removal from the search (line 86 of stockmanager_report.php) from datatables call, and implement the default search instead.
If more people need this to happen I could add it as an option to the plugin.

Just wanted to let you know that they solved it for me, was caused by line endings in my readme file.
