In reply to: Widget issue after WP Upgrade 5.8Ditto on widget issues after upgrading to 5.8. When trying to edit a Visual Editor widget, there’s no editable field displayed. And in the righthand sidebar under “Block” I see the following:
“Legacy Widget Display a legacy widget.
Visual Editor
Arbitrary text or HTML with visual editor”Worse yet, the content on pages (besides the homepage) is not rendering at all!

It looks like the theme is to blame. Setting the theme to TwentyTwenty fixes the issue.
Do you have any recommendations to best hunt down the issue within the theme?

We’ve installed Really Simple SSL. I’m still seeing a Mixed Content error regarding Google Fonts though the source shows the Google Font link to be using https.
Let us know what we can do next.

Still no luck after updating to the latest version and then removing and reinstalling the plugin.
It looks like the only cache plugin installed was SG Optimizer. I deactivated all plugins but with the same result.
Let me know if there’s anything else to try. Thanks again!
