Hi,

In order to automatically pull in the video thumbnails for YouTube Videos, you would need to set the YouTube API Key option available under SlideDeck > Advanced Options Menu.

Once you set the YouTube API key, you would need to update the YouTube videos once again to reflect the changes.

Please follow the below steps in order to update the YouTube Videos links on your slidedeck:
1. Go to SlideDeck > Manage
2. Click the slidedeck to edit.
3. Click to edit the video slide.
4. Update the YouTube Video URL once again.
5. That’s it, the thumbnail should appear for the slide.

We have added few more extensions in SlideDeck version 5, like you would be able to create Image as well as Video slides in SlideDeck version 5, which was not available in SlideDeck3.

Yes, we have added an option to align the slidedeck in center.

You would be able to see this under SlideDeck3 > Advanced Options > Align SlideDeck in the center.

From the details that you have given, what I can understand that you are using SlideDeck with the WordPress default theme 2017.

If this is case, create a full-width template, insert SlideDeck shortcode and then it would show the slider appropriately.
