wordpress 4.1 handles editing galleries and photos differently now. When you click on to edit, now the pencil to edit pops up above the gallery. When it is initially input at the top of the page, the edit button then is hidden behind the top of the edit bar where you cannot access it.
I am having a similar issue with images. Here is the site http://www.sunapeegetaways.com. In the admin area once the images are all added to the gallery they show up, but when you want to edit the images in the admin area after initially adding them in, you can’t. I click on the images to add and the edit capability is gone. I have disabled all plugins, rebuilt the thumbnails. Any ideas of what is wrong. It was working fine a week ago.
