In reply to: [Flow-Flow Social Feed Stream] Free version issueUnfortunately, I’m having the same issues as before, even with version 1.1.2. It worked for a while, but I’m getting the same message I was before.
I’ve attempted figuring out Instagram with no success. This plugin is very frustrating and is not selling me on getting the premium version if the free one doesn’t work more than a week or two. We’re a school with an extremely tight budget.
I installed 3.1.5 and had no problems, so the issue apparently lies in 3.1.6.
Hi Phil – We’re using Astrum, and I see in messages posted above the Themeforest themes “Heal Church & Charity WordPress Theme” and “Samba – Colored WordPress Theme”. Hope this helps.
I haven’t responded lately because I hadn’t re-tested, as it’s a bit of a hassle reverting back to a previous version if it doesn’t work. Well, I updated WordPress to 4.2 this morning, updated my themes, then updated my plugins, including the calendar.
The calendar still does not work with the hover feature, at least in Chrome, so I activated the twenty fifteen theme and the hover theme worked fine. Apparently this plugin just doesn’t cooperate well with Themeforest themes, since that seems to be what most of the users here are reporting using.
I guess I’ll go through the process to revert back to 2.1.6.1 which still works with hover. Let us know if you have updates about it working in Themeforest themes again, but I won’t be inclined to keep updating, testing, reporting, and reverting back each time there’s an update that doesn’t specifically address this issue.
In my case the newer versions of GCE were not working in Chrome, because that is where I was primarily checking. I am currently using 2.1.6.1 which does work. My calendar is at: http://www.slcsaustin.org/student-life/ if that helps.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] No events showing on calendarFound the problem! You were right – the settings didn’t transfer correctly for how far back or forward it would display. I’ve changed those settings and it works. It’s easy to overlook the little settings. when you’re used to them being set.
Reverting to 2.1.6.1 worked for me too. Hopefully the issue can be sorted out in future updates.
I too am having a problem with the hover feature not working. It started a at least 2-3 updates back (admittedly I don’t always check this feature on the website when I should). I’ve had bigger things to contend with, so I’m just getting to it now. I’m using the Astrum theme, also from Themeforest. The calendar works in the default theme. I will try to do what Rage did and revert to 2.1.6.1 and see if that works.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Next link broken in 2.0Thank you! The most recent updated seems to have resolved the issue.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Next link broken in 2.0I had already changed the feed ID and other shortcodes to the current nomenclature and the Next function still doesn’t work (unless I’m missing a shortcode to make it work, which doesn’t appear to be documented). Wish it was as easy as changing the feed ID in my case.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Next link broken in 2.0@nick Young – Manually clearing the cache was one of the first things I did, but it made no affect. I have several calendar sources coming in to the plugin, but I have made sure that they all have the same settings. The time zone information set in WordPress looks fine, as well. I have the “from/until” set to start of the current month and until the end of time, respectively. I’ve done just about all the suggestions I’ve seen in other posts on the issue without success, other than trying to assess java issues – I’m not a programmer and don’t deal with other people’s work.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Next link broken in 2.0I too am having problems with the Next link not working, although I did not change the feeds to display events until the end of time until after the upgrade to 2.0. Am I missing shortcode to get this to function properly? Otherwise it works great.
