First error was triggered on logging in as admin; so wasn’t able to get to an admin console until I commented out the code.

Second error is triggered from console, when trying to run WP Recipe Maker self diagnostics.

Original php code looks fine to me. I think the key here is in translation files, as explained here: https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/faqs/printf-errors
But again, I am not sure; it’s been a while since I’ve done programming.
