In reply to: [Twenty Thirteen] Mobile menu can't open child items on iOSI have made it work on the iPad now by making all parent menu who have childs to links where the link is just a #.
But on the iPhone its just impossible to use child menus.. It reloads the page and shows the menu, but if the menu you need to click is down the screen so you have to scroll, the menu disappear as soon you touch the screen.

In reply to: [Twenty Thirteen] Mobile menu can't open child items on iOSOk i jus twee there is a difference in how the menu is handled on an iPhone and an iPad. The Ignite theme is working well in iPhone but is shown like on a computer on the iPad and then i can’t use the child menu.. so back to Twenty Thirteen and hoping you can make some fix 🙂

In reply to: [Twenty Thirteen] Mobile menu can't open child items on iOSJust tried to change between a few themes. A nice way to handle the menu on iOS is like the Ignite theme, where the menus are folded out from start wen you click on the menu. Not sure how that would look like with a bigger site with a more complex menu tho..

In reply to: [Twenty Thirteen] Mobile menu can't open child items on iOSIm not requesting any special kind of functionality, just here to point your attention to the issue that as the theme is now, its not working on iOS devices. Well the part about child menus..
In all of your reply, it sounds like you can’t see the problem – is that true?

In reply to: [Twenty Thirteen] Mobile menu can't open child items on iOSNow i have made some more test. I have 3 menu items with sub menus in – “OSX Server”, “Galleri” and “Test Parent”. they are all different set up and none works on my iOS device.
First one OSX server is a page and the sub menus are categories put in as sub menus.
Galleri is a page and the sub menu “test side” is a page.
“Test Parent” menu is a ling i have put in and after that cleared the url so the menu it self don’t have a link. The sub here “test child” is a page.
None of these works on the iOS device…
What i have seen is that when a menu is shown on iOS devices, you had to click menu items twice. like first click is to choose and second is to go.. not sure how else to explain it
You can see my site and how it works at http://sh.sinumsen.dk

In reply to: [Twenty Thirteen] Mobile menu can't open child items on iOSAny ideas how I can make it so that the top level items can be expanded with a click so the navigation can be used on an iPhone?
This is exactly what we need – if a menu have sub menus, it should only expand at first click – seen on a lot of home pages.. Not a clue about how to program it, just sad as i like the theme and therefor hoping for help here 🙂

In reply to: [Twenty Thirteen] Mobile menu can't open child items on iOSThere is on my device. When i click the “parent page” menu, the sub menu shows up, but you really have to be fast to click it as the Parent Page loads right away. Its possible here tho as there are no menu after “Parent Page”.
If you put an extra menu (about or something) to the right of “Parent Page”, you can’t click the sub menu as it would trigger the about page instead.

In reply to: [Twenty Thirteen] Mobile menu can't open child items on iOSI have just sadly discovered the same issue..
Would be awesome if that could be fixed as it kinda ruins the theme if you can’t use it on any iOS devices..
