In reply to: Is there a Search and Replace, where string “contains” something?I think what I wanted to do, won’t be possible, and that’s most likely why the Better Search and Replace plugin can’t do it.
It probably can’t tell where is the ‘end of the URL string’, and as such, you can’t say “where it contains this, change it to ALL to this”.

But I want to CHANGE the actual URL string on the page. My sense is that this won’t be possible at all, in a large scale. IE if there are 100 URLs that have /sandwich?id3223423424, we won’t be abel to change it.

In reply to: Is there a Search and Replace, where string “contains” something?That is one slightly scary tool, as unlike other tools that are similar, you can’t do a dry run to see how many it finds. You have to run it and pray!

In reply to: Is there a Search and Replace, where string “contains” something?The problem is, it leaves the “bad” url on the site forever more. Bit like leaving a sign up in a shop to say Mens Wear this way, you get there and told “no it’s downstairs now”… and leaving it like that.
I want to do as I suggested which is to find where the URL ‘contains’ the word, and just change the entire string. So the Link itself is correct.

In reply to: [APCu Manager] How can we tell if it is running?When it says less than 5 minutes, we have our Cron running via Cpanel, as the normal WP behavour with cron is crazy and could bring a website down.
So we run it every 15-30 mins. Else a website just struggles.
Does it have to be set to run every 5 mins????

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Does LSC load cached pages when logged in?From what I can gather, unless you have a very high end bit of hosting, maybe 4-8GB RAM (dedicated) or above, product pages will load in around 4-12 seconds when you are logged in. Where as if you are not logged in, it will serve them likely almost instantly.
Is that about right?

When logged in, they load so slow.

Does it work with better caching if ESI is enabled?Just trying to establish, simply, why pages load 5-10 seconds when logged in, and lightning fast when logged out.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Does LSC load cached pages when logged in?While I can’t share the URLs on here for privacy, I just sent to our hosts the same website. One browsing logged in on the front end, and waiting a few seconds for each. Sometimes longer.
The other when signed out, and click click click… instantly all the time.
The difference is very noticeable.

YES – when signed in as admin, the Cache Hit shows but, each page I go to, takes 6-15 seconds to load, where as when signed out, it’s instant.I did read about the ESI, but that it can cause other issues.
Trying to understand why if the page is cached and a Hit, when logged in, it takes so much longer to load the pages.
