In reply to: [Infopopup] Block popup content from search engines?Hi,
Unless your SEO plugin has any special provision, then it’s not really possible since the popups are generated dynamically and hence search engines can’t be discouraged like normal page content can.
Sorry, but we can’t help you with this one.Best,

In reply to: [Infopopup] Why won't popup work on this pageHi Linda,
OK, I can see where you have the link, and but something doesn’t look quite right, AND there is no jQuery (possible plugin conflict).1. Are you copying and pasting the whole shortcode correctly, and at text level (not visual level)?
2. Try renaming the shortcode (preferably copy the content of it, delete it, and create a new one with a different name). If all else fails, if you can set me up a temporary login (and send the details to me via email – not on this forum), I could take a quick look myself.

In reply to: [Infopopup] Why won't popup work on this pageHi Linda,
Thanks, it’s useful to be able to see the pages. OK, on the fist page link which works, press CTRL+U to see the source – down at line 127 (if using Chrome) you will see the spans and classes inserted by the InfoPopup script. Then at the bottom of the page, you will see the jQuery to make it work (just do a page search for infopopup and it will show you where these instances are). Now, do the same for the page that doesn’t work, and you will see non of this. In fact, the shortcode is appearing as text on the web page which means it’s not executing.
I can’t tell why exactly, but here are some things to check:
1. Make sure the correct shortcode is deployed, and try adding it at text level rather than visual editor level.
2. Are you running any plugins on that page alone that may be conflicting/ blocking InfoPopup?
If so, disable plugins in turn and see if it fixes the issue.
3. Try the non-working shortcode on the page that does work, and then on another random page to prove it fires up.Let me know how you get on with those.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Infopopup] Why won't popup work on this pageOK, well if you could publish one of the pages but ensuring it doesn’t appear on your menu bar then I could have a look.
Failing that, I can only suggest that you:
1. Test this elsewhere on your site, or on other site then once you see it working, start eliminating possible causes
2. Ensure that there are no conflicts with other plugins that would stop this from working (see other post by CBKDSC in this forum).Let me know how you get on.

In reply to: [Infopopup] Why won't popup work on this pageHi,
Would you send me a link to the page where InfoPopup does work – I went thru the site but couldn’t find any instances where it’s actually been set up and that includes the Homepage – all I can see are the CSS references in the source.I will then be able to help you further.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Infopopup] Popup not appearing for users not logged inHi Catherine,
OK, I’ve run a test by installing the Graphene theme in the latest version of WordPress, and a fresh version of InfoPopup, and it seems to work fine on this test site. I sent you a link to prove that.In your installation, the jQuery seems to be missing – if you look at the source of my page link, you will see from line 416 some jQuery for InfoPopup. Now compare with the source of your page, and it’s missing, which probably points to a conflict with some other part of your installation; maybe another plugin? You can try to disable other plugins in turn (particularly since you say it does appear when logged in), and also, install the latest version of WordPress.
I hope this helps you pinpoint and resolve the issue. Any further queries, please let me know.

In reply to: [Infopopup] Popup not appearing for users not logged inHi Catherine,
Thanks for also sending me this request directly. From a first glance, the jQuery seems to be missing from the page which could explain why there is no popup. We are looking into what’s causing this and will get back to you in as soon as possible. Thanks for now,

In reply to: [Infopopup] Close button or linkHi both,
Just spotted your posts. This is a great suggestion and we will add this to a future version.
In the meantime, you could try this piece of code:<img src="../../wp-content/uploads/closebtn.png" onclick="infoCloseAllPopups()" />Just add this to the content field in the popup admin. You may need to add a bit of extra CSS to get the position you want.
Also, make sure that the path to your close image is correct. I’ve tried it here in the office and it works well on my installation, but if you have any issues, please let me know. Thanks,
