anyway …. back to my little problem, wordpress has been uploaded into httpdocs, the config file has been amended and the database created but still unable to find the wp-admin page!

I can find no trace of an .httaccess file and have removed the index.html file but still cant log in using /wp-admin.php or /index.php or http://smeagol.co.uk/index/wp-admin
