That should take care of your issue.Forum: Your WordPress
In reply to: MT Convert, Finally Learning CSSThanks, MaxT. I’ve adjusted the eagle logo so it’s the right size. Dang, you’ve got a good eye — it was exactly 20px too wide. 🙂
Again, appreciate it.Forum: Your WordPress
In reply to: what do you think?Awesome! You’ve got a better grip of CSS than I do, that’s for sure!

In reply to: Can’t login after upgrading to 1.2What I ended up having to do was… leave the database ALONE. Delete everything from your current wp directories EXCEPT the wpconfig file. Upload EVERYTHING from 1.2. Then use the password reset and you should be able to log in. I did *NOT* have to run the wp-install.php or upgrade.php files in order to get 1.2 to work.
The index.php for 1.02 is not the same as the one for 1.2. The 1.02 only will display a blank page, from what I could tell.Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: 1.0.2 to 1.2 login problems after installI had the same thing happen to me. As long as you backed up your entire file structure (excepting the database) you can go back (or at least I could).

In reply to: Index.php not processingWent and deleted all 1.02 files (except wp-config and database). Re-upped all 1.2 files, and low and behold, it worked. Index.php still wouldn’t work (think there was something hokey in the 1.02 version I had, so I used the 1.2, and then did a mod on it so that my links, etc. were there. Works fine now.

In reply to: Index.php not processingIn response:
(1) Yes, I did have the password from within Wp but no longer have the “original, original” password from back when I first installed 1.02. The original user id, “admin” I’m still using, so… I’ve been scouring but can’t find the paper I write that short code on. Found it, so I’ll try it in a minute.
(2) Yep, did that. So, now I’m off to try to load 1.2 again and see what happens.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Index.php not processingI ended up deleting the entire WP directory and reloading 1.02 from the backup I had.
Now, when someone can explain to me how I can deal with 1.2 doing this strage thing where it wouldn’t let me log in and wouldn’t process the index.php file, I’ll upgrade.
Otherwise, I may have to look at leaving WP. The upgrade path stinks, IMHO.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Index.php not processingI ended up putting up an index.htm file instead of the http://www.silverblue.org/wp/index.php file since you can’t access my blog anyway…

In reply to: Index.php not processingYep, tried it in Netscape, tried it in IE, had it send me new password, etc.
Guess maybe I’m screwed?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: New Error from 1.2 Upgradewhat entails what? deleting the database? just overwriting the files? My brain is frazzled, and I’m not thinking right.

In reply to: New Error from 1.2 UpgradeThanks. Host got that resolved. But now the index.php just shows a blank screen, and the “Login” screen keeps sending me back, even though I’ve deleted cookies, etc.
