    I’ve finished the CH-Files.

    As Swiss-German is mainly spoken and not used as the official language, the CH-File is mostly regular German with a few adjustments like Ausserdem instead of Außerdem and «quote» instead of “quote”. Thus, I’ve just revised the German translations in general (I even checked some orthography issues with a lector I’m working with), however only in the CH-Files. Shall I revise the DE-Files too?

    And where can I send the files to?

    Oh, yes, the Swiss language pack is exactly the issue. A quick workaround to this would be to copy the German .mo and .po files and then change ‘_DE’ to ‘_CH’.

    Well the Swiss language pack is always an issue; in real life as well as in the digital one, as it seems… 😉 It’s in fact not even a language of it’s own but rather based an older variation of German.

    However: the workaround worked brilliantly! Thank you so much for your replay!

    If you don’t mind I’ll have a look at all the translations further on in my project and would send you proper CH-files. As far as I’ve seen, there won’t be much.

    I have the same problem. I haven’t even changed anything in the beginning since

    • markup-by-attribute-de_DE.mo
    • markup-by-attribute-de_DE.po

    were already existing. But I still saw only the english texts.

    I then even tried to delete the -de_DE Files and overwrite the pot file itself. Of course, I deleted and recreated the variations again. But I still saw the english texts.

    Could be the problem, that I run the site/shop with the Swiss language pack?
