Okay, just whitelisted my IP. Let’s see if this works with the next iThemes security update.

Lomas, tried erasing the content on the htaccess file — that did not work.

Did follow Viktor’s instructions to delete tables and rows in the DB, and that worked.

This is the 2nd lockout on the same site. Will this happen with every iThemes security update?

Also got locked out after client updated to 3.9.1. I uploaded iThemes Security 4.2.2 via ftp. Then updated to WP 3.9.1 and go locked out.

When I rename the plugin via FTP, I can access the site.

Last time this happened with another site, I was locked out for 2 weeks. If this cannot be fixed, I will have to delete this great plugin and find another.

Same problem. Will rename the folder and hopefully get back in.
