Let us know if your issues persist! (Also, try deactivating and reactivating the plugin)

The “no-redirect=true” option is intended to work primarily with the login action as its purpose was to be a work around option in the event the plugin kept you from logging in.
The rest of your issues may actually be related to your theme (do these issues exist using a theme like Twenty Eleven/Twelve/Thirteen?). Depending on how the theme is written it can make the plugin behave in unexpected ways. We try to make it compatible, but every theme is written differently and not all adhere to WordPress standards. I recommend creating a custom template file in your theme and name it ‘s8-login.php’. Here is a quick example of a basic file, you will probably need to add some additional HTML markup to wrap around the content, but this is where I would start. http://pastebin.com/EhaQUaX4
EDIT: Also, make sure your page links look like http://domain.com/page-name/ instead of http://domain.com/?page=5, the plugin doesn’t work with the latter.
The “Forgot Password” issue I may have to look into, the login form disappearing is likely related to an issue that is resolved in 0.8.7 which should be out sometime today.

In reply to: [Sideways8 Custom Login and Registration] Banning email addressesAt this time there is some incompatibility with other plugins, I would recommend checking the box “Use the WordPress registration form and link” in the Custom Login & Registration settings. This should solve your problem with registering while keeping the login form customized.

We have taken a look into the cause of this issue, we hadn’t taken into account password protected posts/pages. This has now been resolved as of version 0.8.5 which has just been released.

Interesting. I would delete the plugin you have an reinstall (or, just upgrade to the version that we just released a few days ago)

We are sorry for the inconvenience, but our plugin is currently not compatible with social media login options. It may be in the future, but we are unable at this time to give a timeline for when this may be implemented.
Sorry for the delay with this. We are hoping we are now where we can more regularly look into issues and release fixes. This issue should be fixed in the latest version (0.8.4, due out later today).
Also, mrsangeld, I would make sure you reinstall from the WordPress.org repository as that file should not have more than around 665 lines. Having over 1000 lines in the s8-login-registration.php file seems very suspicious.
