    Hello, hei!

    Okay, so I’ve disabled the other 2 sites i.e., default and default-ssl and now it works just fine.

    I’m marking this topic as resolved.

    Thank you StashCat for enlightening me on the multiple sites part.

    Thanks & regards,

    Shyam Singh

    Hello StashCat,

    I’ve also tried the .htaccess file but it didn’t work. By the way, the .htaccess file is at WordPress site root.

    Please let me know if there is something wrong that I’m doing.

    Thanks & regards,

    Shyam Singh

    Hello StashCat,

    I’ve these three sites in /etc/apache2/sites-available:

    1. <VirtualHost *:80>
      ServerAdmin webmaster@localhost

      DocumentRoot /var/www
      <Directory />
      Options FollowSymLinks
      AllowOverride None
      </Directory>
      <Directory /var/www/>
      Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews
      AllowOverride None
      Order allow,deny
      allow from all
      </Directory>

      ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ /usr/lib/cgi-bin/
      <Directory “/usr/lib/cgi-bin”>
      AllowOverride None
      Options +ExecCGI -MultiViews +SymLinksIfOwnerMatch

    2. <IfModule mod_ssl.c>
      <VirtualHost _default_:443>
      ServerAdmin webmaster@localhost

      DocumentRoot /var/www
      <Directory />
      Options FollowSymLinks
      AllowOverride None
      </Directory>
      <Directory /var/www/>
      Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews
      AllowOverride None
      Order allow,deny
      allow from all
      </Directory>

      ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ /usr/lib/cgi-bin/
      <Directory “/usr/lib/cgi-bin”>
      AllowOverride None

    3. <VirtualHost *:80>
      ServerName http://www.conquercg.com
      DocumentRoot /var/www/
      DirectoryIndex index.php
      <Directory /var/www/>
      AllowOverride All
      Order Deny,Allow
      Allow from all
      </Directory>
      </VirtualHost>

    The 3rd one is the site that I’m referring to, other 2 were there by default.

    Please let me know where should I change or make amends.

    Thanks & regards,

    Shyam Singh
