i found a similar issue with the current newest version 1.9.26.
If i want to set a preview image on an album which only contains other albums, i see only an empty list but i know there are about 150 image in subgalleries available.
i can reproduce the issue only on albums with other subalbums (without subgallery).
if i add a subgallery to the album the list is populated normally.
