The issue was not resolved. I used same feed URL with another plugin, it worked!
I am sure this will be fixed in time for this plugin.

The link for the feed is: https://www.google.co.in/alerts/feeds/06399499464533332687/3168333861443809593
When I load it in the plug-in, it shows the contents of the feed. But when I go to summary page where all feeds are listed (in the plugin), I do not see any feeds upon fetching.
