Have you followed the instructions for adding SPF & DKIM ?
Does your email From: match the domain you are using to send the email?
(Are you using YourAccount@gmail.com to send the email but have the from: or/reply to: set to something@YourSiteDomain.com)Your emails are ending up in quarantine because your recieving server is marking them as probable spam.
You’ll need to check the headers of the received mail as the clues may be in their. It could be due to an incorrect setup, the content of the email or multiple spam reports for mail from your domain. (There are other possibilities too).
It’s very unlikely to be as a result of post SMTP unless your settings are wrong.
Ideally, you should be able to set the additional recipients in WooCommerce or in which ever plugin is creating the email. (i.e. in Ninja Forms / Gravity Forms, you would specify multiple recipients at that point). I’m pretty sure WooCommerce gives you the ability to have multiple recipients.
However, you also have the option of adding Additional Email Addresses with the Post SMTP Plugin, but the downside of that is ALL emails that are sent by the whole website will also be sent to those additional recipients. You only want details of any incoming orders to be sent to the purchaser and bookkeeper, you don’t want the Website “There is an update available for your site” which would normally be sent to you, to be also sent to your bookkeeper. Or a “There is a new comment on your site which needs moderating” which would also be sent to any additional addresses you specify.
The additional email addresses can be setting on the Post SMTP settings “Message” tab.
But as I mention above, this will send the addition emails for every single email that is sent by the site, not just the ones that WooCommerce generates. If you cannot find the option in WooCommerce, you’d be best raising this question in the WooCommerce support forum.
Check the email options here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/configuring-woocommerce-settings/
There is also a WooCommerce plugin you can use to create additional notifications
https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/advanced-notifications/“The Advanced Notifications extension for WooCommerce lets you set up order and stock notifications for users other than the admin user. These can be used for anything; notifying staff and users of sales, sending stock notices to suppliers, or even sending new orders to drop shippers.”
I am sure the plugin author (@yehudah) will confirm, but I’m running the plugin on PHP 7.2 with no issues and I have also tested on PHP 7.3
Don’t forget that when you run the PHP Compatibility scanner, it will pick up false positives for a well written plugin. As daft as that sounds, think about a plugin that has a block of (pseudo) code that says:
IF PHP VERSION = 5.4 THEN USE FUNCTION_ABC
IF PHP VERSION = 7.2 THEN USE FUNCTION_XYZ
i.e. the plugin has backward compatibility built into it so it runs with multiple versions of PHP. Sometimes the checker tool will see functions it should ignore.
When you run the compatibility scanner for PHP 7.2, it will detect that the plugin contains a function call FUNCTION_ABC, which is correct, but that function will never ever be called, because the plugin will use the PHP 7.2 function call FUNCTION_XYZ instead.
Depending on which compatibility plugin checker you are using, you can submit updates back to that plugin to reduce the false positives.

In reply to: [WP-Members Membership Plugin] WP-Members not populating dblol – not using WP Members would be the issue.
For those random registrations, regardless of what plugin you are using, within WordPress settings, switch off the ‘allow anyone to join’ (which they can do via the regular WP login/create account road). That will force them to use the login method you have set-up (Go install WP Members, it works… support is great… ditch what you’re using π

In reply to: [WP-Members Membership Plugin] WP-Members not populating dbDaft question, do you have the “Holds new member for admin approval” ticked.
The new members won’t be created until an admin goes in and approves the registration request.
I think you’ll find any pending activations under the “Users” menu, at the bottom marked “Pending activations”Might not be your issue but just throwing out a suggestion.

On which service is it going to spam? (i.e. hotmail/gmail/yahoo/SpamAssassin ?)
Have you run the message(s) through a SpamAssassin tool?Really need to know who or what is marking the mail as spam.
You are correct though in that the record looks fine.
In the Gravity Plugin, when you go to Notifications, they should have one or more Email notifications set up.
Make sure they are not using the default {admin_email} in the From Field, and verify they are using the correct form fields (merge tags) within the From Email/Reply To: fields.
If I get your requirements correct, they want the system to send them an email, but with the reply to set to that of the person who completed the form.
In that instance, in the Notifications -> Email they will need to set the Reply To: field to the merge field name of the email field within that form. So it should look something like {Email:4} where Email:4 is the field name for the email field within this particular form.Just as a sanity check though, check the POST SMTP logs to make sure what is actually being set. Just in case in forwarding the emails (via her domain) to Google, and it’s Google setting the Reply To: field.
If the logs show it is being set correctly when it leaves the site, then you are at the mercy of Google.Yes, if you have those fields checked, Post SMTP will prevent other plugins from changing the email addresses.
So in your case, in Gravity forms, within the responses section, you set the From: / Reply To: fields within Gravity. (i.e. and setting the To: to the email address supplied by the form). If you have those boxes ticked in POST SMTP, it will ignore the Gravity Forms settings.
You want plugins to be able to change these fields (i.e you want Gravity Forms to be able to set these fields).
Hope that makes sense…

Chris.
Love the Beagle site btw… I used to live in Fort Worth, (76137). Got both of my US doggies from a rescue centre and a dog rescuer based on Denton Highway !! Sadly both dogs have now passed away. If I were still in Texas, I’d probably have been suckered in to grabbing a Beagle (or two !!).
Go to the settings on Post SMTP, click the “Message” tab.
Check the Email address field does not have the “Prevent Plugins and themes from changing the email address” set. It needs to be clear.
(Same goes for the name field – that needs to be cleared). The email address set by other plugins (in your case Gravity) should then take precedence. If it’s still not correct, check for any other plugins that are setting the email address.
Goto Performance>Page cache, scroll down to advanced where you will see βNever cache following pages:β field and then enter https://yourdomain.com/url/. <- /. is the thing that says don’t cache anything after /url/
Do you have any cache plugins enabled?
If so, can you put an exception on the job application form page?Have a read of the reply on this thread:

Short summary is: It might be quicker to recreate your Google Cloud/Google API app connection.
Youβll need to visit https://www.google.com/accounts/Logout?continue=https://console.developers.google.com/start/api?id=gmail and follow those instructions again. What version of PHP are you using ?
I see you are hosting with FastHosts, it might be worth checking with them to see if your account is hitting any sending limits.
Whilst you are using Office365, FastHosts themselves use a white-labelled version of Office365 to handle their mail on some accounts (not 100% certain on that but that’s how it was a while back).
They have filtering on certain ports (i.e. 587) that restricts the amount of mail sent.
This is from their guide:
Email sending limits
Our mail platform is designed for business and personal use, not as a mass-mailing service. We limit the number of email’s that can be sent from a mailbox within set time periods. The following limits are in place on all mailbox types.
50 mails in one instance
50 mails in a 10 minute period
1000 mails in a 24 hour periodIf you have sent many email’s within a short amount of time please wait before sending additional mails.
It may be that you have a busy site causing multiple emails and are hitting a limit.
The above does depend on what type of account you have with FastHosts, and what rate limiting they have applied.
Post SMTP will attempt to send email and if there is a ‘random’ network connection issue, that tends to point to a problem outside of Post SMTP. It would be worth speaking to your host first to verify if your set-up would be affected by any rate limiting.
Have a check of your Post SMTP logs to try and calculate how many emails your system is sending in total. (i.e. all mails from other plugins, wordfence, wp core updates or plugin updates, forms, and so on – they soon add up on a busy web site).
What errors do you see in the POST SMTP Log files?
Do the 401 Status codes apply to a particular email, if so, can you view that email in the Post SMTP logs and see both the log and transcript to see if any errors occurred during the sending of the mail?
