In reply to: Post repeats in single postWoohoo! That’s it indeed. The Sociable plugin was somehow duplicating everything, though I don’t know why. I disabled it and it worked – no more double posts! And in the end it’s okay because there’s a built-in share feature that I didn’t realize was there, so people can still link easily.

Silly question – where exactly in the code does it let you specify how many smilies show up? I get all of them (including doubles, weird) in the post area but only a selection in the comment pop up.Forum: Themes and Templates

I’ve only been using WP since the weekend, and already I think the community here is wonderful and very helpful.
Out of curiosity, to get rid of the bullets in front of my categories, I took WillM’s advice and used <?php the_category(‘,’) ?>
I’m trying to get a basic understanding of php (not easy – I lost half my brain cells when I had my baby I think) and I’m wondering what the (‘,’) does. That’s the only thing that changed in my code and it worked so I am just curious as to what it means.Forum: Themes and Templates

The only thing I can’t figure out is why my category list in the sidebar is still double spaced but I probably need to fiddle around with my css file. If anyone has any suggestions, I’d love to hear them but in the meantime, thank you so much for your help!
