Aaaaand final follow-up.
I copied and pasted the URL I was trying to link to from the offending button to a known working button… and it worked.
This lead me to believe there was just something wrong with my original button ID 1. I trashed that button and recreated it, using the same URL as before, and all seems well now.
Follow-up. It doesn’t seem to matter what URL or site content I try to link the button to, the end result is always:
http://orrillreport.com/welcome/orrillreport.com
Even if I link to a random webpage like:
https://www.msn.com/
Or a specific page at my website like:
/about-us/
or a blog post like:
/what-its-like-drive-a-dually/
The link it’s always trying to load is:
http://orrillreport.com/welcome/orrillreport.com
