So, I went through the site, I tried my best to get hang of the steps to be followed, but given I am not into technicalities and coding related background the tutorial site was little confusing.
    1. When you say create style.css, should I be copying the whole style from the original theme? or just the above header as requested. Within the style, how do I add URL for a child theme, which would be my server, right?
    2. What is enqueuing? Do I need to do that? How will I find out the proposed method by the parent theme? Too many things to answer.

After creating the said directory, I can see the theme page in my WordPress has something called “Broken Theme” with the option to install the parent theme. When I click on the “Install Parent” theme it fails (obviously, since I haven’t followed the procedure of enqueuing I believe) and reads – “destination folder already exists. /home”.

I will see if I can discuss this with someone from a technical background, but for now one image for the work gallery seems to be okay alternative. I can keep updating images regularly if needed.

And thank you for all the links and guiding tips!

I am going to mark this as resolved.

Alright, is there any link that would explain how do I go about creating a child theme, and customize that using code?

I would just like to check that out once. If it’s going to be too complicated, I would rather leave that as it is and find the best-suited image for the banner.

    Thanks for confirming though.
