I had the same issue with WordPress 4.2.3 today, the most recent version as of this post, 2015/08/02 @ 12:10 CST. I don’t have any clue as to why this happens. Based on my research this happens more often than it probably should. I found the solution below worked for me as well as many of the others who have had this issue over the past several years.
After a few searches on this site, WordPress.org, I found the suggestion from Rev. Voodoo, which was posted a few years ago, to try this…
- “if you can log in to admin – go to settings -> permalinks and hit save to reset your permalinks, then test”.
If this doesn’t work for you like it did for me, try the other tips suggested here Rev. Voodoo Tips for – Home page shows, but all other pages don’t? Not sure why…
