In reply to: image upload is not working on subfoldersWell, when I add any image to the subfolder /regiao-metropolitana-de-sao-paulo/ gallery, the file is uploaded to public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/9/files/2012/08/ , so I go there and all the files are there, I can download them and see them there. There is where all the files are uploaded. I don’t know if I completly understood the question, but that’s the answer I got.
If this is the answer we were fearing, then should I contact the host?

And about your question, yeah, that was a Typo, sorry. The site /regiao-metropolitana-de-campinas/ have only one location, so does (/regiao-metropolitana-da-baixada-santista. They’re 2 different sites.

When I upload an imagem through wordpress media, it gives me the broken link http://regiaometropolitana.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/(image_name).jpg , for example. So I don’t know where is it being uploaded. I checked through ftp access and the images are ending up at public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/10/files/2012/08/, but I dunno the link. How do I find out?

I’ve checked the link http://regiaometropolitana.com/wp-includes/ms-files.php?file=/files/2012/08/timthumb.jpeg , and as you can see, not working, error 404. So does that tell us that our .htacess file is not being read?
I’ve also tried disabling all the plugins, but none of them seemed to be causing this problem. Should we uninstall all of them instead of just disabling?
And about our host, I’ve contacted them again and they are just creating more ploblems saying our “host service does not give us entire control over the file htppd.conf”, so we can’t edit it because our host is “shared with another clients, so any change would affect them all”. Is there any other way to surpass this limitation?

The main site works just fine, but the 3 others subfolders don’t(they are with the media problem that I said).
Where is my httpd.conf file? Is it in care of my host server or can I just go and edit it?Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: image upload is not working on subfoldersI go to the media, drag-and-drop the image file, and it uploads normally, but in the small miniature of the image, it shows nothing but a ‘x’, and if I go to the image links, it also gets me to a link with that ‘x’.
