In reply to: [Simple Social Icons] Cannot have 2 widgets because of css in headI would love to see a fix for this so that SSI can be used in multiple widget areas with dedicated styling possible for each area.
I set up test sites from back ups, swapped out databases, and many other things. The problem with login/password reset via UM interface persisted.
I could see that there were a very high number of attempted logins on one of the admin user profiles. This apparently triggered the Modsecurity module used by the web hosting provider (Namecheap).
After the web host whitelisted the domain, everything is working again as normal and I can reclaim my Easter weekend.
I hope this record is useful for others and they are spared the aggravation and mystery that I have experienced over the past two days.
PS: It’s still possible to login via url/wp-admin but this is not the preferred interface.

Shortcode is [wppa type=”generic”][/wppa] but I get the same result with other variations such as [wppa type=”cover” album=”1..9″][/wppa]
The setting in Table I-A1 is auto.

The “O” do not appear in the thumbnail display on 5.0.17 See, for example, http://rasamauragis.com/portfolio/landscape/
They only appeared after upgrading to 5.1.0
I don’t have a Table II-C3 in my settings in Ver 5.0.17
I notice in 5.1.0, there is a “thumbnail view count (display number of views)” at Table II-C8 that appears between Table II-C2 and Table II-C4 This box is unchecked but the “0” shows up.

In reply to: Sharedaddy: Cannot ActivateMy server uses PHP 5.2.13 and I am also experiencing difficulties activating this plugin. I get the following error message:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: plugin_dir_path() in [path]/wp-content/plugins/sharedaddy/sharedaddy.php on line 11
I can find line 11 in the code but don’t know enough about PHP to fix this

In reply to: Not receiving email notification of new commentsThanks foolswisdom. I found that I didn’t need to set up a new e-mail account as such, just adding a new e-mail forwarder/redirect for wordpress@myurl did the trick. Phew!
