You’re right, your secret slug is only saved in database.
Is your website clean of malware etc ?
Are you using any membership plugin ?
Are you sure any public link is placed on your website ?

Are you sure you cleared cache and transients ?
I recommend to delete every inactive plugins, clear cache and transients.
I think it’s not our plugin which creates this issue but a conflict with another plugin.

Is whl_page line still here in your wp_options database table ?
–> Yes : you can delete it

Yes, WordPress generates a good link with your secret slug when WPS Hide Login is activated. Then, if it’s not the case, your link must be generated by another plugin.

Your issue isn’t due to WPS Hide Login which creates a right link in this case.
Are you using Woocommerce or another plugin like BuddyPress to log in ?

Are you sure it’s the only plugin in common on all your injected installations ?
