In reply to: [WPS Hide Login] Problem with different Site and wordpress panelHello,
Thanks for using WPS Hide Login.
I think you didn’t change the URL in the right place. To change your login slug with WPS Hide Login, please reach you admin panel –> Settings –> WPS Hide Login.
I think you’ve just broken your website with your change.

In reply to: [WPS Hide Login] Who is stealing my info????Hello,
Thanks for using WPS Hide Login.
Have you got suscribers on your website ? WPS Hide Login isn’t built to work with public access.
Or, are your visitors able to comment your content ? Then, a link to your login page maybe be displayed by default in this area.

In reply to: [WPS Hide Login] Password recovery reveals hidden urlHello,
Thanks for using WPS Hide Login.
Your suscriber can connect and request a new password ? Then, they already know the secret slug to log in, isn’t it ?
WPS Hide Login isn’t built to be used with a public access.
Hello,
Thanks for using WPS Hide Login.
This functionality works well with WPS Hide Login. Are yoy using another plugin like Woocommerce, BuddyPress or anything else creating an account and enabling login through a public page ?

¡ Cuidado ! Hablo un poquito español y hé entendido lo que ha escribido. ¿ Podemos seguir este conversacion en ingles, por favor ?
Are you sure, /login/ is the slug you set up ? You can deactivate WPS Hide Loguin renaming the folder wps-hide-login in wp-content/plugins by FTP. Then, you’ll be able to access you admin by /wp-login.php slug

In reply to: [WPS Hide Login] www.urlname.com throwing 404 page in firefox & safariHello,
Thanks for using WPS Hide Login.
I notice the URL you shared is in http://. Then, when I try to reach it, I’m redirected to 404 in https. But, when I try to reach it with https protocol, the right page appears.
Check if your redirections from http to https are set in your .htaccess.

You’ve to exclude /wp-admin, /wp-login.php and /secret-slug from cache in you cache plugin, Cloudflare or CDN.

This isn’t due to WPS Hide Login. You’ve to uncheck “Everyone can register” in your general settings.

In reply to: [WPS Hide Login] WP Backend Pulgin pageHello,
Thanks for using WPS Hide Login.
WPS Hide Login has no effect on plugins page. It only renames your login slug and redirects wp-login.php and wp-admin slugs to 404 for non-loggedin users.
If the issue still appears when the plugin is deactvated, it means the issue is caused by something else.

In reply to: [WPS Hide Login] Redirection URL NOT workingEuh… I don’t uderstand.
WPS Hide Login let you create a secret slug for your login page.
Then, you can only log in at http://www.yoursite.com/yoursecretslug.
With this secret slug set in WPS Hide Login, http://www.yoursite.com/wp-login.php and http://www.yoursite.com/wp-admin should redirect to 404 for non_logged_in users and /wp-admin reaches to WordPress backoffice for logged_in users. Is it the case ?

In reply to: [WPS Hide Login] Redirection URL NOT workingHello,
@sandgroper There’s no need to create a redirect in .htaccess or in cpanel…
@scarlywebs Even with WPS Hide Login only activated, you still have the redirect ? To wp-login.php or another random URL ?

In reply to: [WPS Hide Login] Is it possible to find the link somewhere? My last post concerned your answer about the fact your website couldn’t be compromised.
For xmlrpc, you’re right. It can come from here. Enable xmlrpc makes a vulnerability fail on your website.

In reply to: [WPS Hide Login] Is it possible to find the link somewhere? It doesn’t matter. The hack can come from a vulnerable plugin, theme or from an old WordPress version even if it has been updated after the hack.

In reply to: [WPS Hide Login] Is it possible to find the link somewhere?Hello @spade and @sandgroper
If only one IP has found your secret slug, are you sure your website isn’t compromised ?
