As I mentioned earlier:
“Under WooCommerce → Settings → Emails, verify that the email notifications for “New order” and “Completed order” are enabled and properly configured. (yes, but I don’t know what you mean by “properly configured”; there is only the check box…)”
“I followed your lead about COD, disabling test mode and placing an order, but no better; in fact, not only did it auto-complete in seconds, it also only sent the ‘order completed’ email, while not sending the ‘new order received’ email.”
So, to recap: when I was using test mode both ‘new order’ and ‘order completed’ emails were sent out immediately, along with the order being marked as completed. The, when I switched to ‘cash on delivery’ and placed the order, the same sequence happened, except then only the ‘order completed’ email was sent. It’s a confusing mess.
Also, I followed @aovivo ‘s suggestion and rolled-back to 10.5.0, but that didn’t help either.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Orders auto-completing and I can’t find a solutionHi Frank. I left Woocommerce and Elementor on. Everything else was disabled, including Fluent Snippets. I tried the storefront theme, as I had seen that suggested in my research. Obviously this can’t be an issue with Elementor. I am using the pro version and everything is up to date. I mean, if WC and Elementor don’t work together at their latest versions that would be a major disaster for countless businesses. I’m thinking I may need to delete and re-install WC. Thoughts? Also, how do I attach files here? Thanks so much!

I followed your lead about COD, disabling test mode and placing an order, but no better; in fact, not only did it auto-complete in seconds, it also only sent the ‘order completed’ email, while not sending the ‘new order received’ email. Bizarre behavior in all cases, so far. I’ve never had this happen with Woocommerce until now. And again, I’ve disabled pretty much everything and tried changing themes, with no success.
‘Grant access’ is enabled.
